He also noted that the first digital issue of Wired magazine, which cost $4.99, had been downloaded more than 90,000 times since its release this month.

“It surpassed our newsstands sales,” he said, before adding, “but interestingly, has not cannibalized them, either.”

Дело даже не в том, что сумели продать более 90 тыс раз по 5 баксов (это дорого для США, где годовая подписка на журнал — 12 баксов). Продажи превысили продажи в киосках. И не снизили их.
